Should I or shouldn’t I get a divorce?
If you are uncertain about the future of your marriage and feeling unsure about how to proceed – coaching can help you clarify both the issues and what you need to work through before you make any big decisions. Discover if a divorce really is the best solution for you and your family.
How do you handle something you never asked for?
Did you get blindsided by the request for a divorce? Are you feeling rejected and overwhelmed? I can help you find your strengths, your confidence, and your self after an unwanted and unwelcome breakup! I actually was here myself many years ago and I wish I had access to a coach like me to help me manage better!
How to prepare for a divorce?
If you are sure you want to end your marriage – coaching can help you figure out how to start the process in a kinder and healthier way. Planning really does help – a process started with forethought and a plan will usually be better for everyone involved especially the children. I can help you plan out what you want, get everything you need organized and help you prepare yourself and your loved ones for the process.
How to proceed with the business of divorce?
Once you decide to separate and move into action – the business of divorce needs to be separated from the emotional aspects that tend to overwhelm and sabotage people as they go through the divorce process. Coaching can help keep your emotions out of your legal and financial decisions. Remaining clear on how to create the healthy family you desire through this stage is critical to obtaining what every family wants – both well-adjusted and happy children and co-parents or just two well-adjusted ex-partners!
How to win at life after a divorce? Once the divorce is ‘done’ – now what should you do?
If you are feeling stuck, unworthy, guilty or unsure of who you are now – Coaching can truly help you become more confident and sure of what your new status can create for you. There really are positives in every negative thing we go through in life. Where do you want to be in 2, 5 and 10 years? How do you want to be feeling? How do you want your life to play out? The clean slate of divorce is an invitation to build what you want so let’s make a plan and move into action! Coaching can help you reach your full potential as you stretch, learn and grow in this sometimes uncomfortable stage.

What is coaching?
Here is my favourite description of how coaching works.
Coaching is like driving in a car and looking out the front windshield. The view out the windshield is your future. What direction you choose and speed you move are your choice.
A coach is a companion and a navigator, sitting in your passenger seat, who can help you get where you want to go. The coach can make the ride quicker, more comfortable and enjoyable.
What you see in your rear view mirror is your past. What you have packed into your trunk is your baggage, issues that were created in your past. You may even be dragging a trailer full of issues. Therapists and counselors can help with your history.
In summary, coaches deal with where you would like to go and the best route to get you to your desired destination. Counselors deal with where you have been already and the baggage you have accumulated which may be slowing your journey down.
In hindsight, I wish I had known everything would be okay when I was going through my breakup. I can assure you; you will be okay! It is a little like a roller coaster ride with big ups and downs, but the ride will smooth out over time. You are the only person that controls just how wonderful your life can become!
How my coaching works
Once the form below has been completed and submitted I will contact you to set up your complimentary, 30-minute strategy session at a mutually convenient time. We will connect for coaching initially by phone, FaceTime or Skype.
I will explain how my program works. If you find the initial session helpful and we are a good fit then we can begin the journey together.
If you want more guidance, I also offer a 10-week group support program I call Blue Skies Ahead!, where we discuss a set topic each week to help you rebuild your life after your love relationship ends.
Blue Skies Ahead! Testimonials:
“The support group, Blue Skies Ahead!, is designed to keep one focused on the road ahead, which Pam facilitates so well. Pam held the space for the participants to share safely in a very relaxed manner. She is a thoughtful, insightful and encouraging guide.”– K.K.
“I found Blue Skies Ahead! an informative, non-pressure setting. Pam is an excellent coach, friendly, approachable, “been there, done that” so is able to feel and share her past experience with the group.” – K.S.
I also have a FaceBook business page where you can find items that I post that may be of interest to you. I post on separation, divorce, health and wellness. Please ‘like’ the page it if you find it helpful!yy
